Reduced productivity barriers: simple operation
Targeted research and routine applications require fast-response instrument control software that is intuitive to operate. Predefined method templates integrated with databases, including the Thermo Scientific mzCloud database, are used to empirically create targeted quantitative analysis methods. In addition, the method can be loaded and operated directly from the previous TSQ Fortis mass spectrometer without optimization.
The dwell time assigned to the transformation is automatically determined in the experiment based on the user-defined chromatographic peak width and fixed cycle time options or the number of data points per chromatographic peak. The priority setting allows further adjustment.
Speed, selectivity and sensitivity
Very high acquisition speeds are achieved on the TSQ Fortis Plus mass spectrometer, which can reach speeds of 600 SRM/sec and 5 ms polarity switching speed when using the new power supply, and are also used to acquire the required number of data points to increase the number of target compounds (even when using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) separation).
TSQ Fortis Plus mass spectrometers can achieve high quantitative analysis performance in both selective reaction monitoring (SRM) and high-resolution selective reaction monitoring (H-SRM) to make the selection suitable for the purpose. The enhanced active Q2 collision cell improves product ion transport performance (especially for low mass product ions), thereby increasing detection efficiency.

New UHPLC and high-performance ion chromatography (HPIC) systems can greatly improve sample transport and separation capabilities, maintaining their sensitivity to meet very low residue levels without the use of expensive sample preparation or derivatization steps. Stable and reliable quantitative analysis
