The modular Thermo Scientific Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system is a flexibly configurable ion chromatography (IC) system with capillary ion chromatography capabilities. It allows you to develop and run different methods for a single sample or for different samples at the same time. The system is designed to be robust, operate up to 5000 psi, and produce consistent and reliable results. As an ion chromatography analysis system, the Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system is designed to adapt to the needs of users and push the limits of what is possible in ion analysis, thus combining high-pressure and capillary ion chromatography analysis capabilities.

Flexible configuration
Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC systems are available in standard bore, micro-bore, and capillary specifications with a wide range of detector options. The high pressure ion chromatography system can handle a wide range of ion chromatography applications, from two-dimensional ion chromatography for trace level analysis to anion exchange chromatography with pulsed amperometric detection (HPAE-PAD) for complex carbohydrate analysis.
Compatible with mass spectrometry
The system is compatible with single quadrupole, triple quadrupole and high resolution (HRAM) Thermo Scientific Orbitrap mass spectrometers for performing robust ion chromatography-mass spectrometry (IC-MS) analysis.
Tablet Control *
The system is equipped with a tablet computer with an intuitive interface that allows direct local control of the system and its status. The interface is available in 11 different languages to customize your user experience. It allows you to communicate with the instrument via an encrypted WiFi or wired connection, as well as access the consumables installation guide and troubleshooting knowledge base.
Consumables Device Monitor *
The Consumables Device Monitor automatically identifies and tracks installation time, usage, and performance metrics for up to 25 different consumables to prevent consumable installation errors, help schedule preventive maintenance, and manage consumable usage to minimize instrument downtime.
Automatic Eluent Generator (EG)
To achieve unparalleled process reproducibility and accuracy, the system can electrolytically generate a high purity hydroxide, carbonate, bicarbonate or methanesulfonic acid (MSA) eluent when a source of high purity deionized water is available. The Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system also generates a potassium hydroxide/potassium methanesulfonate (KOH/KMSA) eluent for complex carbohydrate analysis when using the dual eluent generation tank mode.
Chromatographic Data System (CDS) software
The Dionex ICS-6000 HPIC system comes with easy-to-use Thermo Scientific Chameleon Chromatographic Data System software (Chromeleon CDS). The software platform provides powerful control and data processing for ICs and provides electronic workflows that make all our required applications easily accessible. In addition, the Chameleon Chromatographic Data System software can also control the mass spectrometry system to achieve seamless ion chromatography-mass spectrometry (IC-MS) analysis.
